The Energy of Words
Words can be either empowering or disempowering. It is important for people to recognize the words we use in our self-talk, in our interactions with others, and in our description of our daily activities. Are you thinking, feeling, and acting empowered or disempowered? What words are you using to describe yourself? What words are you using to describe your friends or other family members?
Your perspective on a situation is very powerful, in terms of how you experience it. For example, let’s say you are in a car and another car hits you and damages the rear bumper. You can be upset that your car was damaged or you can be thankful that you did not sustain any injuries. It is your choice!
